Obituary of Doris Gelfand

Doris (Eichmann) Gelfand passed away peacefully at home on July 17, 2017 at age 93. She was a lifelong New Yorker who was larger than life to her family and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Michael, and is survived by Drs. Jeffrey and Robert, Attorney Lisa Kent, and eight grandchildren, Samantha, Beth, Madeline, Erica, Jessica, Jennifer, Lauren, and Melissa; and five great-grandchildren. Donations in her memory can be made to Calvary Hospital Fund, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, NY 10461. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Interment will be private.
