Irene was my dear sweet sister. I had not seen her for about 15 years when I spent a week with her and her hubby Mike. She looked like a movie star to me and I loved her dearly. When I was 12 I started spending my summer vacations with her and our older sister Dorothy and my summers were great. Irene was a sweetheart and I bragged that she looked like an old time movie star Susan Hayward. Rest in peace my dear sister. Will be with you in the near future I think. I Love You A Bushel And A Peck.
Love,
Sis Ruth

I have only known this family since 2012 but visiting with Aunt Irene always amazed me how sharp she was and how much I loved talking to her. She was such a sweet woman. I am sure the family will miss her presence but know she is in a wonderful place.

I remember going to my Aunt and Uncles' home in Fairfield after I got done with classes to wait for my Dad to get out of work and Aunt Irene would be at the kitchen sink singing Barbara Ann I would hear her sing that when ever I came in the door. I will miss you RIP

I will miss my dear neighbor Irene. She always greeted me with a smile and it was comforting to know that she was there next door to us. Since we moved to Wilton Road in 1981, she and her husband Mike were like family. Rest in peace, Irene.

I spent many fine hours with my Aunt talking, watching movies, listening to music, sharing meals, riding in cars, and many other times with her and my many cousins and her friends from the neighborhood. She was a great lady who's wit and humor was only out weighed by her love and care of everyone of her family and friends. I will miss her.

Mrs. Bolick was a very fine neighbor. She was the last original owners of her home on Wilton Road. In 1948, all these young couples purchased their first homes. They worked to make the yards nice. They were happy to be able to send their children to Holland Hill School She always had a smile and a wave. We will miss her. May all the special memories of her be cherished by children and grandchildren. May she be at peace.
