Jeanette Mary Sube Pokorny, age 90 of Fairfield, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2020. Born and raised in Long Island City, NY, Jeanette had moved to Fairfield many years ago. She had worked as a corporate travel agent for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing poker, travel and watching and routing for the New England Patriots. Jeanette loved animals and cooking for her family and friends. More than anything she loved the times that she spent with her family. A loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Bogardus and her husband John of Fairfield, grandsons Joseph Bogardus and his wife Angela and Michael Bogardus and his wife Aigerim and her great-grandson Wyatt James Bogardus as well as several nieces and nephews.
