My Dear Friend and neighbour of a lifetimes l will miss Mary Igoe Murray. I will miss calling her on St.Patricks Day to wish her and her family 'Top of the Morning' l knew to call just before the Parade at Noon every March 17th, ending with a conversation about her Mom always watching right next door, My family adopted the St.Patricks Day dinner of corn beef and cabbage as well. My favourite was the Irish soda bread, a bread l must have each year. I remember doing Mary's hair for her Wedding day, it was a Saturday AM Mass.at St.Raymonds Church. I will miss all the Christmas and Birthday Cards we shared, [and l have saved all of them, especially of my special people in my life.] I will Miss Mary not as a neighbour, but as a bridge of love that l will hold dear to my heart, May God Bless her, and join Jim, and her brother'Buddie Igoe' and her Parents in Heaven. Dear Michael, James, and Family, We are so sorry regarding the passing of your dearly beloved mom, Mary. She was such a wonderful LADY, but we don't have to tell you that. Mary and I met when she came to the 6th grade in St. Raymond’s grade school and we became best friends and went on to share our life’s journey together. She was my maid of honor as I was hers and we made each other godparents to our children. We’ve made so many memories together with our families and our bond, even though later in life the distance separated us, was unbreakable. We lived in each other’s heart and never ever lost touch. We were each others rock and living without her after a lifetime of friendship is a heartache that I can’t bare. Mary, I love you and will miss you dearly.
