Dear Lisa, Emma, Aidan & family,
I am so saddened to hear about the loss of Billy. We coached youth football together for two years. Billy was a joy to be around. He was a caring individual who was always willing to encourage everyone around him--even if the Jets had lost that weekend. Later on, when our kids were in high school together, we enjoyed seeing him at mutual concerts and events. Billy was always ready to greet you with a friendly hello, was always happy to speak of his family, and always inquired about yours with genuine interest. He will be missed.
We are thinking of you.
Sincerely,
Kevin Holtz & family

Lisa, Emma ,Aidan And family,
I am so sorry for your loss.
Billy was the light in any room he walked into. That may be why he became an electrician! We had many laughs together as all “the boys” can attest. I am sure any one of his friends from high school, grammar school or any other part of his life, will all have a “Pugsley” story and they would all put a smile on your face.
I loved Billy as All his friends did and will always.
I was one of the lucky ones that got to call him a friend.
Sometimes I wouldn’t see him for 5 or 10 years, but when we got together, it was like we saw each other yesterday. That is the bond that was created by Locust Valley High School and close friends.
He will be surely be missed, but not ever forgotten.
With sincerest condolences,
Rob Carreno and family

Hello Lisa!
I’ve kept up with Amy over the years, and I am so saddened to hear this news. My husband’s sister passed away suddenly in 2011, leaving her family behind, and I know first hand what a void that leaves. My family will be praying for yours. I’m just so sorry for you and you children. I pray God will give you the strength to navigate through this time, and that you may find joy and peace in your wonderful memories of family life with Bill.

I had the pleasure of being Billy’s foreman when we built Cornell medical research facility on 69th street. We didn’t know each other at the start but Billy became someone I could really depend on. He was a gentlemen a very hard worker and liked by everyone. When I heard the news of Billy’s passing to say I was sad was an understatement. Local 3 lost one of the good guys. Billy thank you for all the hard work you put forth while we were together. My sincere condolences go out to your family which you talked so glowingly about. Rest In Peace my friend. - Brian Lang

Mr Kilgallen was a dad to all of Aidan and Emma’s friends. I will always cherish the moments I was able to have with him, and the memories I was able to be apart of. He will be greatly missed by every single soul he touched. I am sharing some of my favorite memories of him, including being able to watch Emma and Aidan’s preformances together, and hang out every night over the summer. Even though he is not physically here with us anymore, I know he will still be watching over us and joining in on all the great memories to come (with his big smiley face!)
