Edward J. Staffieri, age 39, of New Fairfield, beloved son of Sharon Bolick Lizon, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2020.
Born in Danbury, Ed was a New Fairfield resident for most of his life and had also been a Florida resident for several years. Ed had most recently worked for the L.T. Landscape Inc.
Ed had been educated in his passion, which was repairing small engines, While in Florida, he had his own business, Ed's Mobile Small Engine Repair for those who brought their broken equipment to him and for those who could not, he would gladly go to their home to help.
Ed loved animals, especially his dog, Scooby and cat, Callaway. Ed was a very giving person, so much so that even in death, he donated his organs so that others may live.
In addition to his mother, Sharon, Ed leaves behind his grandmother, Irene Bolick, of Fairfield; uncles, Don Bolick, of Norfolk, VA and Michael Bolick, of Oxford; an aunt, Pamela Trickey, of Newtown; as well as many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Janelle Staffieri; his father, Edward Staffieri; an aunt, Robin Bolick; and step-father, Robert Lizon.
Services were held privately in the care of the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center.
