Always my favorite uncle - so many memories - from my early childhood on. Quick to laugh and kind to everyone. I think of him often, as does Jim. Jim will miss speaking with him on the phone and all the bad jokes they shared.

My mom was very fond of Uncle Wally and Aunt Helen and they love that they shared. Uncle Wally was a true hero, especially in WWII. We enjoyed reading about him this past Veteran’s Day! We are so proud. Rest in peace Uncle Wally! Love Anna and Vito Mazza (Cissy’s kids)

I was saddened to hear the loss of Uncle Wally. He truly was a great man and admired by many. He was such a big part of the Cogan family. Rest well, Uncle Wally. You will be missed! Hug Aunt Helen for me. I miss when her and I used to be pen pals. ❤️
