My heart felt condolences to Kyle, Diane and the entire Fournier family. Dave was a colorful character, who brought joy to a lot of people. I will always have a huge smile on my face, anytime I think of the fun we had together back in the day. He was a special guy, and myself and anyone who’s life he touched, will never forget him.
Butch, rock on. RIP my friend.

I was shocked and saddened by this news. Dave and I go back to high school and I knew his sister, mom and dad very well. Although I moved around the Country quite a bit, I reconnected with Dave about 8 years ago. I recently gave him a DVD of the 1975 Norwalk/McMahon hockey game and he called me after he viewed it and we reminisced about the "glory days". A great guy and will be dearly missed

This was really a gut punch...brought everything back starting with LL and his dad Dave Sr managing...Then from those days and nights at Ascension during the "formative" years...skipping classes to go to Danbury Fair and Rye Playland...Seeing Twisted Sister for the 1st time at the Fore and Aft..fighting with those Bostonians over the Aerosmith drum sticks the drummer back to u....Arguing about Frampton sounding better on 8 track or casette in our cars...Fla and AC with Jacoby where we were the original Planes Trains and Automobile movie trying to get home from Atlantic City....So many stories.....He had a great sense of humor and one day he wouldnt stop so he was in the trunk of my car fixing the speaker wires when I threw in the keys and shut the trunk...it was for a second but he was horrified and he shut up after that but he vowed to get me back...Ive waited all these yrs and was praying this was it.....RIP My brother never forget....Mike DiDio

David and family I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I always had a lot of fun with Dave although it's been years. I can picture us terrorizing our dads when we were toddlers and they were trying their best to control us. Jump from there to big Dave and Jim coaching us in little league - I don't remember him without his smile and that's making me smile now. Nothing but warm memories, God bless you all!

Countless nights with Twisted Sister at the Fore and Aft. Multiple trips to Fort Lauderdale for Spring break. High school hockey. Growing up together. Although we drifted apart we always loved it when we bumped into each other over the years. Never a loss for words. A true friend.
RIP my old friend.
