James “Zeke” Skultety, age 59, of Fairfield. It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved brother, Jimmy.  He passed away suddenly on September 23,2019.  A loving son, brother, uncle, great uncle & friend, Jimmy was born in Bridgeport and was the son to the late Alexander & Catherine Skultety.  He was a lifelong Fairfield resident and graduated from Andrew Warde High School class of 1978. Jimmy was a hardworking carpenter, painter and all-around handyman.  He could always be counted on to help slice & dice at the numerous picnics throughout the years.  Jimmy’s favorite picnics included Cigany Szalonna.  He enjoyed fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Jimmy is survived by his loving family including his siblings, Nancy Skultety, Thomas Skultety, Kathleen Lyddy and her husband, Chris; a sister in-law, Jackie Skultety; nieces, Sara (Jim), Caithlin (Brian), Emma, Allison, Karen (Frank); a nephew, Brian; and 6 great nieces and nephews, Brynn, Harper, Mia, Logan, Caeleigh and Kerry. He was predeceased by a brother, Alex Skultety & a sister in-law, Jann Skultety. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon with a remembrance at 11:30 a.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road in Fairfield Center.
