Obituary of Thomas D. Crispino

Thomas D. Crispino, age 38, of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, entered into eternal life on Monday, May 1, 2017. His memory will lovingly be remembered by his parents, James and Mary Beth Clark Crispino, of Bridgeport; his brother, James Crispino, of Bridgeport, and his significant other, Ana Cuadra; his paternal grandmother, Stella Crispino, of Bridgeport; his loving companion, Holly Hackett, of Guilford; aunts and uncles, Kate Slinko, of Bridgeport, John and Gina Clark, of Westfield, NJ, Stephanie and Bruce Richardson, of Cheshire, and Andrew and Donna Crispino, of Monroe; and cousins, Libby Richardson, Marin Ranta, Jayna Richardson, Lisa Weber, Michelle Crispino, David and Maddie Slinko, Michael Slinko, Emily Slinko, Vincent Clark, and Meredith Clark. Tom was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, James Crispino; and maternal grandparents, Philip and Agnes Clark. Born and raised in Bridgeport, Tom was a lifelong resident of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport and was a graduate from Emmett O'Brien Technical High School in 1996. He then began his career in the food service industry and was a manager for Gourmet Express. A talented athlete, Tom played and followed baseball, soccer, hockey, basketball, and curling. He was an avid New York Yankees, New York Rangers, Bridgeport Sound Tigers, and Buffalo Bills fan. Tom enjoyed camping, being outside, and animals. Tom had a great sense of humor, was energetic, kind, caring of others, and volunteered at numerous local charities. He possessed a strong sense of community and relished his long time Black Rock friendships. He was a sweet and caring person who will be greatly missed. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 4-8 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
