Obituary of Patrick E. Gutierrez

Patrick E. Gutierrez, Jr. , age 39, of  Fairfield, entered into eternal life on Thursday August 15th 2019.

His memory will be embraced by his devoted wife of thirteen years,  Jean Jastremski Gutierrez; his cherished children, Sienna and Hudson;  his loving parents, Patrick, Sr. and Christina Concha Gutierrez, of Stratford;  his grandmother, Gladys Silva of Norwalk; his siblings, Christian Gutierrez and wife April, of Stratford, Joseph Illesca and wife Mary, of Pomona, NY, Rene Illesca  and Candance Gutierrez, both  of Chile; several nieces and nephews, Christian Gutierrez Jr., Sebastian, Scarlette, Vera and Vivianna Illesca; as well as numerous extended family, friends, and colleagues.

Born in Port Chester, NY, Patrick spent most of his life in Norwalk and was proud of his Chilean heritage. He was a talented athlete, who had a lifelong appreciation for fitness, break dancing, fashion, music, traveling, and especially his family and friends. Patrick earned his MBA from Sacred Heart University and was  the Director of Alliances and Partnerships for Zip Recruiter.

After college, Patrick worked out in the Ninja Warrior Gym in Hamden and had been featured in the television show, Ninja Warrior. He approached all things in life head on, always striving for excellence. He inspired many people throughout the world, saving and changing lives for the better with his message of love and peace. Perhaps the greatest obstacle Patrick faced was his beating cancer.  Patrick loved his family and friends and will be remembered for his amazing zeal for life.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center.  His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM in Saint Thomas Church, 1719 Post Road, in Fairfield. His interment will be private.
