Obituary of Kathleen Frances Johnson

Kathleen Johnson, Age 88, Beloved wife to the late Carl “Bob” Johnson, passed away in her home in Bridgeport, CT on Friday, April 5, 2019.

Born in Bridgeport on June 16, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Jennie Narkevics. Kathleen graduated from Bassick High School and was employed by the Town of Fairfield for 25 years.

Kathleen was an avid reader, who also loved shopping and cooking. Her favorite activity was spending as much time as she could with her children and grandchildren.

She was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and friend, she will be greatly missed. Survivors include her son, Richard Johnson of Bridgeport, daughter Kathleen Johnson of Bridgeport, sister Louise Kranyik of Fairfield, her granddaughter Amy Johnson of Seymour, and granddaughter Amanda Johnson of Milford,  as well as several nieces and nephew. In addition to her husband Bob she was predeceased by her son Robert Johnson, and her sister Jean Sassano.
