Obituary of Donald Ambrose Munroe

Donald "Don" A. Munroe, 87, passed away peacefully in his home on December 30th, 2024. Born in New York City on January 15th, 1937, to the late Donald G. and Katherine T. (nee Grant) Munroe. Donald is survived by his siblings, Mel, Anne, and Tom (Tori); his two children, Kathy and John (Kerry); three grandsons; and many nieces and nephews. Known for his strong work ethic, Donald was a steel worker at Handy and Harmon for 25 years. Growing up in New York City, one of Don's goals was to "never live under someone," and he still managed the stairs to his second-floor apartment until his passing. He was known for his shockingly blue eyes and ability to tell a story. Services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.
