Michael John Szwejkowski, 75, beloved husband of Nancy Szwejkowski, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024.

Born in Bridgeport in 1949 to John and Barbara Szwejkowski, Mike grew up in Bridgeport and graduated from Bassick High School. He met Nancy through their church youth group, and they were married for 55 years. Mike worked at Harvey Hubbell for 40 years before retiring.

In addition to his wife, Nancy, he is survived by his son, Mike, and his wife, Jeanine Szwejkowski of Florida, as well as his grandchildren, Kayla and Jason, and great-granddaughter, Amara. He is also survived by his godson and nephew, Bill III, in Arizona and many special cousins, Joe and Deb Brenneis.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 5, from 3 to 7 PM at Lesko Funeral Home, located at 1209 Post Road, Fairfield Center. There will be a funeral service at 6 PM.
