Dolores Scaminaci, 88, of Bridgeport, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1936, Dolores graduated from the New York Institute of Art. She later worked at Stratfield School in Fairfield, Connecticut. In 1958, she married Gaspar Scaminaci, and they enjoyed a loving marriage until his passing in 2009.

Dolores is survived by her children: Stephen Scaminaci of Fairfield, Connecticut; Karen Guerriero of South Carolina; Robert Scaminaci of Stratford, Connecticut; and Catherine Scaminaci of Derby, Connecticut. She is also survived by her grandson, Michael Scaminaci, and her great-grandson, Anthony Scaminaci, both of Derby, Connecticut, as well as her best friend, Beverly Peress.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gaspar Anthony Scaminaci; her mother, Ermenia Pontoni; and her father, Conrad Pontoni.
