Mary Louise Zearo, 90, of Weston, Connecticut, passed away Monday, September 16th, 2024.

Mary was born in the Bronx, New York, in 1934. She was married on June 23, 1956, to the love of her life, Louis F. Zearo. Mary was a Parishioner of St Francis of Assisi church of Weston. She was an avid golfer and spent time as the Golf Chairman of the 9-hole league and the 18-hole league at Aspetuck Valley Country Club. Mary played in many interclub golf tournaments and had a Hole in One. She was a Competitive bridge player in Fairfield County and Vero Beach, FL, earning Master points in tournaments. Mary enjoyed traveling, entertaining, dancing, dinners out with her husband and friends, gourmet cooking, Broadway shows, classic movies, golf, bridge, and time with her family.

Mary is Survived by her husband of 68 years, Louis F. Zearo, of Weston, CT, her son, Louis Zearo, of Saratoga Springs, NY, her daughter, Suzanne Spantidos, and her husband, Demetri Spantidos, of Weston, CT, her nieces, Madelyne Berry and her husband Larry Berry, New Rochelle, NY, Noreen Dunne, of New Rochelle, NY, Nona Kerry Dunne, of Perry, Maine, and her cat, Elsa.

She is predeceased by her parents, William P. Dunne and Emelia Dassler.

Mary's Funeral Mass will occur on Friday, September 20th, at 11 a.m., directly at Saint Francis of Assisi Church of Weston.
