Q: What will you never forget about David?
A: After each time David shared in an AA meeting, he would say “just be kind.” I learned from him that being kind can be accomplished one day at a time.

Q: How did you meet David?
A: I met Dave and Gab in Surf City. We met early in the morning in the sand on the coast. I came dressed up and he came out of the water! He was smiling, sandy, and loving life. First impression was “He lives in the moment and loves life!”

I’m so sorry for your immense loss, I went to school with Dave and knew him since Jr high at Tomlinson,he was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and always had a positive attitude and word every time I saw him, last time I saw him was about 4 years ago at St. Luke’s in Westport and I can’t believe he passed away so young,my deepest condolences to family members and friends,it won’t be the same without him there at St. Luke’s next time I go there…R.I.P. Dave, thanks for being a great friend.

You could search for the rest of your life and never find a warmer or more generous person than David Curran. He had a heart as big as the outdoors. Always had a smile and a kind word for everyone he encountered. A fellow Henderson Road boy, even when he was sick and weak, he always found time to look in on my Dad and take care of any little plumbing issues he might have had, right up until my Dad's final days. My Dad thought the world of David, as did my entire family. Thank you for everything Dave and sincere condolences to the entire Curran family. Pat Carroll III

Dave and I were in homeroom together from 7 - 12 grade at Roger Ludlowe High School. I remember him entering class each day with his shirt collar up - looking dapper and confident. He had one of the best smiles. My condolences to the Curran Family.
