Obituary of Tibor Bedo

Tibor Bedo, age 75, of Monroe, beloved husband of Katalin Ambrus Bedo, entered into eternal life on Monday, March 11, 2024.

Born in Hungary to the late Charles and Maria Bedo, Tibor immigrated to the United States at the age of 24 to live the American dream. He had a deep love and passion for cars and that turned into a career that lasted 40 years at Continental Motors of Fairfield. He was a simple man who enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and restoring old Mercedes. Tibor taught his children how to work hard and showed them what you could accomplish if you put your mind to it.

Tibor worked hard each and every day to provide a comfortable life for his family. If you were lucky enough to have known him, you knew that he would go above and beyond helping any one of his friends in need. The unconditional love he gave and the values he taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. As much as we will miss him, we know that he is pain free and at peace now. Apu, please watch over us and give us the strength to also find peace…until we meet again…we love you.

In addition to his loving wife, Katalin Clara Bedo, Tibor’s memory will be lovingly remembered by his children, daughters, Maria DiBona (Steven), of Waterbury, CT, Katalin (Juan) Bedo, of Beacon Falls, CT, sons, Charles Bedo (Tarrah), of Monroe, CT, and James Bedo, of Monroe, CT; and his grandchildren, Kaylena, Katalina, Kayden, and Charles Junior.

All services will be held privately.
