Margaret "Meg" Simko, 88, of Fairfield, CT, passed away Friday, January 12th, 2024.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents Paul Simko & Rose Varadi.

Margaret was known as Meg to her friends. She was born in Bridgeport and raised in Black Rock. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Rose Simko. Moving to Fairfield she graduated from Roger Ludlowe High School and immediately joined the US Army. Upon discharge, she moved to NYC and began her career in the fashion industry. Eventually, she started her own clothing company with a partner, Simko/SmithLLC Clothing. Upon retirement, she moved back to Fairfield. Being an active and energetic person, Meg became the cheese department manager at the Westport Stop and Shop. She was also active at the Fairfield Senior Center and a member of the Port Five Veterans Club.
