I had the privilege of working with Mark throughout the last 7 years at Nasdaq. He was one of the kindest, most selfless individuals I have ever met. Every interaction at work was always so positive - he went above and beyond to make everyone feel valued, included and heard.
Before moving to DC, Mark sent me his restaurant recommendations and made sure I knew where to go in the office on my first day - he was the type of person who went above and beyond even when he did not have to. I will never forget his kindness.
When we were not talking about work, Mark loved talking about his wife and four children. We shared a bond over our shared family in Massachusetts and Connecticut. He loved his family more than anything.
My deepest condolences to his wife, children, brothers, sisters and in-laws. I will be praying for all of you.
Sincerely,
Katherine (Sheridan) Eppolito

My condolences to Mark's family. Although I only knew Mark for a very short time, it was a pleasure to have worked together. An amazing person, very professional, always trying to find a way to keep things rolling. It is a terrible loss and Mark will be missed.

Much love and prayers being sent to you Amanda and your family...Mark, I will never forget how you entered my name into the NYC marathon lottery unknown to me at a time of 2:45 (I had never run a marathon in my life) and I was up in the professional corrals and you just said oh just do it! so I did! One of many memories that will forever remain in my heart!

I am honored to have worked with Mark for the last seven years. No matter what client proposal presented challenges, Mark always carried a confident voice into every meeting. Moreover, he had a magical smile that made everyone feel welcome, be at the office or at company events. I learned from Mark to always go through the day with an “up tempo” view. Countless Zoom calls and cocktails (most recently in Miami), Mark was always in the center of the action! My deepest sympathies to Amanda, James, Fiona, Caroline, and William.

I am so heartbroken to hear of Mark's passing. I am a NASDAQ Shelton employee and would really enjoy when Mark would come into the office. We would have had great conversations about political and world events and he would proudly tell me about his son's soccer ability. Always smiling and upbeat, Mark will be missed by many. No one is ever prepared for such a tragedy so I can't imagine the heartbreak his family is going through. My thoughts and prayers to Mark's wife, children, brothers and sister in this most difficult time. - Mike Lello

Mark has been one of the greatest persons I have met. He was so warm and enthusiast about all issues and moments we spent together. Besides our profesional relation I was fortunate to make a strong and happy friendship with him. I’ll mis Mark.
I hope I’ll meet soon with Amanda to give her my condolences and meet their beautiful children.

It was shocking to hear about the sudden loss of Mark, and our deepest condolences to Amanda and the beautiful children.
Mark was such a welcoming and including person, and always showed interest and engagement. His connection to Sweden and Scandinavia became a bond, and he would from time to time send articles and posts about Norway, which always was appreciated and heartwarming. He was a true role model in his involvement with the children and how he also included friends.
You are already missed Mark! Condolences from the Veibergs.

Fast friend is the perfect description of Mark. I had the pleasure of meeting Mark on my very first fateful trip to a Rock and Jump birthday party after moving up to Fairfield a few years ago. We immediately struck up a conversation. Upon hearing it was my first visit, he said “oh, you’ll be here a lot”, with his signature laugh to follow. From that point on I looked for him at any and every kid event we overlapped on. Being the dad he is, I saw him at almost all of them. I would even see him at his nieces and nephews events! Easy to talk to is an understatement. He always had a smile and was just a positive and fun person to be around. My family has had the honor and joy of getting to know Mark and Amanda, their kids and extended family over these past few years in this great community. Mark will not only be missed, but remembered and talked about very fondly by so many.

I had the opportunity to work with Mark for the last two years at Nasdaq. His kindness and dedication stood out in every interaction. When we were not talking about work, he would bring up family photos and gush over the latest things his wife and kids were doing. My sincerest condolences to his family. You all will be in my prayers.

My condolences to Mark’s family. I worked with Mark while I was at CapitalStar Systems. He was a man with high integrity and always looked out for the best interest of the people he worked with. Mark was instrumental in helping us launch BIVA, Mexico’s second national stock exchange with NASDAQ’s technology team. He will be missed.

Prayers and love being sent to the Driscoll family. I knew Mark in college. He was always a smart, funny, generous person. He touched so many more people than even he likely knew. The news of his passing quickly ran through the Bona community and stories immediately started flowing. God Bless you all.

Ave atque vale.
I was fortunate enough to know Mark for about 20 years. He was always happy. He loved his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor. We would text each other about random things. Whether a funny memory from our time working together, or something about the current political or economic landscape, Drisc was usually the first person on my send list. Our conversations were usually about God and family. I remember speaking to him when my mom died and then reaching out to him when his parents each died. He was a great soul and I will miss him tremendously.
I never saw Mark angry. He never held a grudge. I still cannot believe he is gone.
I am praying for the repose of his soul. Knowing Mark, he probably already has 2,000 new friends. I found a picture from a Christmas party at TradingScreen in December 2009.
Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace. Amen.

The Bonnie’s lost a good this week. And we lost a good friend. Still in shock. If anyone deserves to live forever - it was Mark. And he will - in our memories and through his children. We can take solace in the thought that his mom was there to greet him and maybe that we will see him again, inviting us to taste the perfect grilled steak at a beach side meal in heaven, when our time comes.
