Ray: I'm sorry to hear of Don's Passing Tonight on Facebook. I Used to live at 104 Boulevard West back in the early to mid 60's, (1961-1967), before moving to Cranbury Manor in East Windsor, (from 1967-1998), before moving finally to Jackson, where I've been ever since. You Might remember my sisters, Mary Lou, Diane, and Barbara. We lived Next Door to Ron & Gary Warshawski, and across the Street from Pete & Steve Appito. Donna Pochopin was my neighbor on the other side. My condolences go to you and your family. May Don Rest In Peace. <ED BANNON>

Ed. I absolutely remember you and your family. Weren't Mary Lou and Diane
Twins? Barbara must have been younger. Your mom Cathy (Kathy) babysat
don and I on occasion and your Dad (Pete?) was Don and my Catholic Confirmation sponsor. I still have the wrist bracelet they gave me for
confirmation. Glad you mentioned when you left Cliffwood Beach as
I was wondering. Thank you for your kind thoughts and give my regards
to the family. <Ray>

My memory of Don was as an active volunteer. He donated his time generously to his parish, St. Pius. But serving with him on the Fairfield Police Commission was where we worked together for the good of the community. Don always had a special view as we interviewed potential candidates. May his dear wife and son treasure those life long memories. Don accomplished so many of his goals , May he be at peace.

I was very sad top hear on Don's passing. I was a support employee in the Norfolk FBI office prior to becoming a Special Agent. I very much enjoyed playing tennis with Don and meeting his wife as well. As it was a long time ago, I really cannot recall who won these tennis matches. RIP my friend.

Dear Julianne and Matthew,
Please accept our sympathies and condolences on your loss of an outstanding husband, father, and a very special FBI Agent!
I was privileged to meet Don at Ft. Indantown Gap during SWAT Regional Training cycles. Don was the ultimate team player but would rise above when called upon to do so. His professionalism, work-ethic, and sense of team work were unique and his character always shined - one always wanted to be in his presence.
Be forever confident of the legacy left by Don for it will shine eternally!
Rest in Peace big man!
Mike Pyszczymuka and family

Julieanne and Matthew I am so sorry for your loss. Don was like a brother to me. I will miss him dearly. We spent many years together on the New York FBI Swat team and attending many Yankee games together. Our families also spent some time together on Long Beach Island. I spoke with him just before Christmas. I will always treasure our conversations. I love you my brother.
