I have to smile remembering great times spent with Denis. Riding around in his Cadillac with a keg in the back seat, singing at the Beachside while he played the spoons. He was one of a kind!

Denis I am not at all sad about your passing now you will be with your love Susan Jane Stanton Rickard and all the people that love you and all the joy you gave to us along the way.Susie and I met you when we were fresh out of college at Rickard's beach ,you in a 3 piece suit driving a baby blue Cadillac along the shore.You took to Susie right away,You were alittle slow getting the show on the road but I came to your wedding in the summer on the Old Post Rd.You both moved to your historic house in Redding even though it was a hell,of a drive Christmas was an event,the Charlie Brown tree, the stenciling of the floors ,a wreath and and candle in every window.The boating we did on the Bristol The 4th of July week in Block Island.Ma's Yatch .You are the party ,you will never be forgotten and will be talked about always.I am in St. Martin partying ,you would approve XO Dana

"So sorry for your loss! I was a member of PYC with Denis; he loved to have a good time and a good time was had by all when Denis was in the house. Particularly on St Patty's day, when it was like having the Irish ambassador at the club. God's speed old friend - "May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields."

So sorry for your loss! Denis was always the life of the party and did love a good time. I have many fond memories from childhood with Denis, and the rest of the PYC gang. Whether they be sitting out on the hook in PJ, or at Mahogany Shoals. May he rest in peace!
