Obituary of Jeffrey W. Toth

Jeffrey W. Toth, 76, of Fairfield, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judith Kish Toth; his daughter, Wendy Papageorge, and her husband, Angelus, of Fairfield; his three grandsons, Jack (13), Ryan (12), and Tyler (10); his brother, George A. Toth, and his wife, Marguerite, of Fairfield; goddaughter, Susan Toth Owen, and her husband, Michael, and sons, Sean and Garrett; his niece, Dr. Cynthia Moylan, and her husband, Brendan, and their children, Beckett and Fergus, of North Carolina; his brother, Brian Toth, and his wife, Janice, of Florida; his godson, Brian F. Toth, and his wife, Kelly, and children, Cameron and Abby, of Florida; his niece, Melissa Toth, of Florida; along with many other family members and friends.

Jeffrey was predeceased by his parents, George and Olga (Burian) Toth; his daughter, Jennifer H. Toth; his niece, Laura Toth; and his godson, Matthew Tyszka.

Jeff worked at Sturm Ruger, Fairfield Lumber, was the Owner/Operator of Toth Trucking for over ten years, hauling steel, Hatch & Bailey, and most recently, CTR. He enjoyed driving all over the United States, including most recently to Alaska. His favorite place to vacation was at Walt Disney World in Florida, and took great pleasure in the Disney Cruises. Jeff spent many years hunting in Vermont with many friends, old and young.

Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Lesko Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. directly at the funeral home. His burial will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport.
