Obituary of Edward Emil Stehle

Edward Emil Stehle, age 57 of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, husband of Marie Blagys Stehle, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Born in Bridgeport on November 1, 1961, son of the late Emil Stehle Jr., and Julia ( Sheila ) Devine Stehle, Ed grew up in Fairfield before moving to Bridgeport. He worked in sales for many years most recently for the Ace Distributors Company. Ed was an avid golfer and was a longtime member of the Fairchild Wheeler Golf Club and a lifetime member of the S.S. Norden Club of Black Rock. For some years Ed coached for the Black Rock Little League and he enjoyed fantasy football. In addition to his wife Marie, Ed is survived by his brother Raymond Stehle and his wife Carolyn of Shelton and a sister Eileen Faustich and her husband Raymond of Seymour and their son Kevin Faustich. He leaves behind his Godson and " Best Buddy " Jack Garland, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law David Blagys and his wife Kathleen Pierce, Jean Blagys-McCann and her husband Richard McCann, Peter Blagys and his wife Patrice Luoma, Philip Blagys and his wife Susan and William Blagys and his wife Elizabeth as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Rd., Fairfield Center. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-8 pm.
