Jennifer Casey Powers, age 75, of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Robert C. Powers, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.

Born in Bridgeport, Jennifer was a life long Fairfield resident, prior to moving to Black Rock in 2010. She was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School and Paier College of Art. Her professional career included being Vice President of G.W. Hoffman Advertising Agency and later, worked as a Student Advisor for Norwalk Community College before retiring. Jennifer was a talented artist, was the designer of the Kool-Aid Man, and loved antiques. She found great joy in her grandchildren, antiques, and painting.

Jennifer's memory will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Kirsten Powers Boroskey, and her husband, William, of Sandy Hook, Lauren Ellard, and her husband, Peter, of New Milford; her cherished grandchildren, Madison and William Boroskey and Peter, Edward, Harper, and Genevieve Ellard; her beloved nephew, Steven Farkas, of Southbury; and several other nieces and nephews. In addition to her loving husband of 40 years, Robert, Jennifer was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Genevieve Horvath Casey; her sister, Kathleen Grant, and her brother, Charles Casey.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
