Mr. and Mrs. Bigelow were my surrogate parents during my early years. He was so kind and sweet and one always knew he loved his family and those dear to him with all his heart.
A genius in the tea world, his legacy will live on forever for so many reasons.
Much love to you all, Laurie

In the heavenly repose of our beloved David, we remember a soul that embodied kindness and warmth. His gentle passion radiated at Bigelow Tea Boise, where for 30 years he extended familial love to colleagues and ceaselessly sought their perspective. God must be cherishing his altruistic spirit now. His selfless quest to uplift others was inspiring and he will be profoundly missed yet celebrated eternally for his contributions, both personal and professional.

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of David. I remember him as being so very kind and gentlemanly. While living with Lori, I can remember her parents visits, Eunice would enter the front door while David parked the car, he was never far behind. He always had a smile to share.and Lori was just so proud to call him Dad. No doubt there are big hugs taking place “upstairs”. My deepest sympathy to the entire Bigelow family,

The last true Gentleman of American business has passed. No words can fill the void that David has left in our lives. Our prayers go out to Eunice, Cindi, Craig, Meghan and David.
A man of quiet dignity, he always put others first and was quick with a warm smile and a polite manner that always made you feel special. As the decades passed, my life was enriched and inspired for having worked with this honorable man. He touched the lives of thousands of people and we are all the better for having known him ... and that is his greatest legacy.

It is with great sadness that I had to note that David has left this planet.for good.
My feelings are with Eunice and all those close to him and left behind..
It has been a previlege to have met with David over the time span of decades
and he always lived up to the high standards set by himself on how to treat other individuals,
on how to stay curious and involved,on how to always keep and nurture his dry sense of humor
being open to listen to and learn from others.
The US tea scene looks different today because of his doing and he leaves some very big foot prints
to follow.
I will treasure the moments spent with him I recall and David will always be remembered for his boyish smile
when "mission accomplished,problem solved".
We miss you already David!

I have very fond and very special private memory of Mr. Bigelow. A number of years ago I was fighting my own battle with cancer. Mr. and Mrs. Bigelow were on their annual trip to Boise for Teapot Dinner. While on a tour of the plant they came to my office. I wasn't expecting a personal visit. Mr. Bigelow started the conversation with "Mark, I understand that you and I something in common."
Mr. and Mrs. Bigelow were the finest team I have ever witnessed in my life. The caring and concern they had for each on of us who were part of the extended Bigelow family was amazing.
Mr. Bigelow will be missed. Mrs. Bigelow, Cindy and the rest of your family were so fortunate to have his gentle leadership for all the years.
Deepest sympathy'

I recall fondly my parents, Marge and Mac McCall, playing bridge with the Bigelows back in the ‘60s in Westport. A good night was when a gift of tea was given:). Fond memories for all, I’m sure. My condolences to Eunice and the family ~

We have enjoyed, and cherish, the friendship with David and Eunice for many years in Palm Beach, there are so many wonderful memories to look back on. We will always remember the intelligence and curiosity of David, the good conversation and the hours long phone calls when they were in Westport. We will miss David very much, one never saw him upset or crossed, treated everyone with respect and never boasted about his success, he was a true gentleman and a dear friend.
Our hearts go out to Eunice, Cindi and the rest of the family.

What a beautiful remembrance of Mr. Bigelow's life. Mr B's kindness was always the first thing to be noticed when he entered a room. He always took the time to greet others and inquire about their lives. The love and care he had for Mrs. B could never go unnoticed by others. A beautiful couple, an example of true love and commitment. It was a pleasure to have known Mr. B. Kraig and I are truly sorry for your loss. Our thoughts are with you all. I have only been around Mr. Bigelow when I came to the office. He would always greet me with excitement and wanted to hear what was going on with my business. You could tell the love and passion he had for the company and the people around him.
He will always be missed as he was unreplaceable.
