Nick was one of the best leaders I have ever supported during my career at GE. He was kind and compassionate. He always lifted me up with encouragement. Even after I retired he continued to reach out to me with birthday greetings each year and to tell me “you rock Rose”. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to work with such a tremendous person. RIP Nick, you rock…always

We had just recently met Nick, and we were starting to become good friends. Because of how generous he was with his time and himself, we went from quick conversations on the beach in Provincetown to starting to build a deeper friendship.
Nick always had a positive attitude and an amazing energy. He always noticed even the smallest details and he always took the time to have a kind word or send a quick text. Nick was amazing at validating and valuing his friends and those around him.
Being around Nick was always a really nice experience as he was always calm, and in a great mood, making sure to not sweat the small things and to be present and to enjoy life and those around him.
We miss Nick and his friendship a lot. We will think of him each time we are on the beach, and we will continue to exchange with him, when something makes us think of him, when there is something we know he would have been happy for us for - even if not by text directly, but in our heads.
We are thinking of Jim and Nick's entire family. We know how hard we miss Nick, despite not having known him for long, so we can't imagine how immensely those closer to him must miss him today.

Nick’s spirit will remain in our hearts, especially this time of year. He would call and say he missed us and come up to our daughters pool to hang out with he and Jim. He was and will always be special. You had a wonderful son. We are honored to call him a friend. May the love and support of family and friends give you great comfort during this very emotional time. Love and prayers, Dom and Lois Cavaliere

The first time I met Nick was at Deacon’s soccer game. While
He spent the entire time focused on watching Deacon play, Reagan was using him as a trampoline. The love that he had for Deacon and Reagan was incredible. I watched countless FaceTime calls taking place between them and you could feel his joy come through the screen. I know that he will always be with them watching over them and protecting them and they’re so lucky that they had him as their uncle.

Jim and I only crossed paths once during a CIO Inner Circle dinner (my first as a new member). He and I sat next to each other that evening and I immediately felt welcomed as a new comer and enjoyed his vibrant personality. My most sincere condolences to family, friends and colleagues who admired Jim from so many lenses. - Ellen Christy, CIO, Executive Office of Economic Development, Commonwealth of MA.

Nick and I crossed paths in our work in GE over a number of years. He was an inspiring leader with boundless energy. He was never too busy to ask how I was doing and be excited for the success of others. Myself and many others within GE will miss him greatly.
