Obituary of Nancy S. Hackett

Nancy S. Hackett, age 93, of Fairfield, wife of Richard Kullman, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
Born in Indiana, daughter of the late Roy and Julia Sullivan Smith, Nancy came to Connecticut in the 1940's and was a resident of Bridgeport and Fairfield for most of her life. She had worked as a legal secretary for several attorneys and as an executive secretary and in the safe deposit department at People's Bank for many years until her retirement. Nancy valued her faith and instilled those morals into her daily life. She had a beautiful singing voice and was a graceful lady of style and grace, who more than anything, loved the times that she spent with her family, canine family members and friends.
Survivors include her sons, Edward V. Hackett and John R. Hackett, and his wife, Kathy; granddaughters, Ashley Lupo, and her husband, Mark, and Kristine Lebel, and her husband, Tim; great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Mollie Lupo and Tyler and Olivia Lebel; a sister-in-law, Marie D'Attelo, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Nancy was predeceased by her husband John W. Hackett, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. directly at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield with interment to follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center.
