Obituary of John Gerard Naber

John Gerard Naber, of Black Rock, Connecticut, died suddenly April 21, 2023, at his home after a short battle fighting cancer.
John was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 23, 1955 to Mary Ann and William Donald Naber. He was the beloved husband of Wynne Babycos Naber; and father to John Zachary Naber (pre-deceased), Christopher Jordan Naber, and Jacob McKinnon Naber. He was a beloved brother to his twin, Jim Naber, Anne Lillicraf, and Don Naber. He was predeceased by his parents, William Donald Naber and Mary Ann Naber.
He attended Notre Dame High School and John Carroll University. His professional career was in Technology Sales where he had sales leadership positions at Facit and Intermec. He and Wynne raised their three boys in Easton. John was their biggest fan cheering for them from the side lines of the Fairfield County soccer fields and hockey arenas.
He was a member of the Elks and an active member and Chief Financial Officer of the Nordan Club in Black Rock, where he was known as "Johnny Numbers". He chaired many charitable and social events at the club and was famous for his porchetta and corned beef sandwiches. To say that John was beloved by many friends and family is an understatement. John was predeceased by his son Zachary. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
