Dear Uncle Dennis, Wendy, Peter, Traci, and all family, I was very sad and really lost for words after hearing about Aunt Sue passing. Watching the video tribute brought me to tears, so many wonderful memories myself growing up. I mostly remember her amazing beautiful smile always present, no matter if she was cooking, cleaning or just relaxing I never saw my Aunt Sue without a smile! I actually wondered as a silly youngster if her face hurt from always being so happy!! Anything she cooked or baked was delicious, absolutely "chef level", entertaining was her passion and joy. I always looked forward to our family gatherings!! My absolute fav which I would nearly drool for was the pastry rolled up and filled with a nut paste and she always made one with poppy seeds, SO yummy, I regret not asking for the recipe. I also remember her kindness and beautiful caring heart. I never ever heard a negative comment or word, no matter the situation she was able to find a way to add "light", love and positivity. Aunt Sue has such a beautiful soul, we were all graced to be a part of her wonderful and full life, here, and again when we join in our everlasting home. I regret that I had not spoken with my Aunt in a very long time, my fault of course. However, I am so very grateful for a very intimate "one on one" long phone conversation, my first ever "adult" chat with my Aunt where she shared much about herself, inner feelings, fears, emotions, past experiences as never before! She made me feel VERY special as her niece, that she took the time to share many real life details which definitely made me admire her even more, on an "adult/grown-up" level, such a beautiful person inside and out!! Much credit to Uncle Dennis & other family who took such meticulous effort compiling the video tribute, I just know she is smiling down, touched by the outpouring of love and care taken to celebrate her happy and very full life. All I can think when I see the photo is that is exactly how I think of her, and all I can hear in my head is "Soonie!' Childhood memories are alive and well in my heart.
