Obituary of William Borsi

William Borsi, age 95, entered eternal rest on Monday, March 6, 2023.

Bill was a resident of Fairfield for 91 years, a Roger Ludlowe High School alumni, and former maintenance carpenter for the Fairfield Board of Education. Bill was formerly an active member of the Calvin United Church of Christ where he had served as treasurer and was a member of the brotherhood. Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and uncle and will be fondly remembered by his family. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran having served during World War II. 

Bill is survived by his children, William B. Borsi (Anna Warn), of Athens, VT and Christine West (Andrew), of Milford; and his beloved grandson, Sgt. Liam West (Isabel Germaine), of Milford, along with several nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Ester (Mate) Borsi, his wife of 68 years, Eleanor (Pataky) Borsi, and his two sisters, Melva Drabaski and Jean Sabo.

The family would like to thank his caregivers Irene and Simone and the staff at Bridges by Epoch.

Private services are being held in the care of the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home.
