Dear Fulton Family, I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Fulton although I can’t think of him and not smile. There is simply not space to write it all down. From Santa to Yasser Arafat to Garfield to cold nights in the garage and hot days on the porch…There was Atari in the back room with the kerosene heater, Christmas and Bingo, the bait store and more…. the memories go on and on. I don’t know how either Mr. or Mrs. Fulton put up with all of us hanging around at the house so much, but I am so glad they did! Mr. Fulton had special way about him. He was DEFINITELY the life of the party, but he also maintained the respect of our generation. He could and would hang out with us and we looked forward to it, but make no mistake, “Chick” to turn into "Mr. Fulton" in hurry! That was a lesson I had hoped to apply to my own kids upbringing, that is being relaxed and friendly with them, but still retain the role of paren. Quite the balancing act! I doubt I did as good a job. Mr. Fulton was a good man and he will be missed by many, but for me it’s as if light was dimmed on the memories of my childhood. My very deepest condolences to all, of course. Love, John Martinsky
