On Saturday, November 10, 2018, Charles Muller, husband of the late Mary Muller and loving father of four children passed away at age 92.
He was born in New York City on June 5, 1926, the son of Henry and Martha Muller. Charles was raised and lived most of his life in Old Lyme, CT. until moving to Stratford, CT thirty years ago. Charles was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in combat in Germany during World War II. He worked for many years for Housatonic Community College, retiring as the Director of Fiscal Affairs. He enjoyed traveling, especially cruising. More than anything he was proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Trine and her husband Kevin of Arizona, Patricia Rice and her husband Robin of California, Theresa Doran and her husband Ron of Stratford and his son Charlie Muller and his wife Kim of Texas; grandchildren Katie, Timothy, Samuel, Derek, Maureen, Jacob and Haley; great-grandchildren April and Autumn; his sisters Alice Muller and Roberta Leone and his brother David Muller.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in St. Ann's Episcopal Church, 82 Shore Road., Old Lyme. He will be laid to rest in Duck River Cemetery, Old Lyme with full military honors. Friends may call at the church from 10 AM until the time of the service. The Muller family would like to thank Seasons Hospice and Right At Home for the care that Charles received during his illness.
