Melissa McMillan- On Thursday, October 27, 2022, our loving daughter, and sister, passed away at age 50.  Melissa was born on December 11, 1971.  She is survived by her mother, MaryLew McMillan, siblings Tracey Rosato (husband Steven) and John McMillan (wife Lori), niece Abigail and nephews John, Josh, and Luke, all of Fairfield, CT.  She is pre-deceased by her father, John A. McMillan.

Melissa (Missy) grew up in Greenwich, CT and attended Greenwich Public Schools.  She was instantly recognizable with her beautiful curly red hair, tall stature and a smile that lit up a room. After high school she studied for her cosmetology license and worked as a hairdresser.  She also held several administrative positions through the years.

She moved to Fairfield as an adult and made many friends with her sunny personality. She loved the water and Long Island Sound, gardening, cooking, and caring for animals. Besides her devotion to her mother, the great loves of her life were the members of her pet family, Dallas, Daisy, Lucy, Kylie, Holly & Sage.

Her memorial service will be held Monday, November 7 at the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center at 11:30 AM. Friends may greet her family from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
