Obituary of William Reiss

William Henry "Billy" Reiss, age 59, of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022.

He was born and raised in Freehold N.J. and Weston, CT. Billy graduated from Weston High School and attended Western Connecticut State University. He worked for Stew Leonard's, Frito Lay, and City Line Distributers. He owned a Mac Tool Distributorship, was a Top Sales Associate at Teddy's Furniture in Norwalk, CT, and did Estate Clean Outs.

Billy was a history buff, avid reader, and Yankees fan. He loved music, beer, and hanging out with his buddies. He was a member of the Bridgeport Elks and the S.S. Norden Club in Black Rock, CT. Billy's strongest asset was his "Heart of Gold", helpful, kind, and compassionate to all and friends with many. He will be "Forever in our Hearts".

He is survived by his sister, Cynthia Reiss and John Hanley, of Black Rock, CT; as well as his extended Family at the S.S. Norden Club.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. A Prayer Service and a Celebration of his life will begin at 12:00 p.m.
