I am happy to read such a nice tribute to your mom, Bernice. She was always professional and kind to students and staff. In the 70s, she and I started teaching together when I returned from maternity leave after having a son. She introduced me to a book she said you loved- GOOD NIGHT MOON. My son and daughter enjoyed the book. I’ve read it to their children and can read it to my great grand son. You have a right to be proud of your mom. She was a a fine lady who left a mark on those who knew her. With sympathy, Diane Devalt
