Obituary of Craig Schmarr

Craig Schmarr, age 62 of Stratford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 28, 2021.

Born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey, son of the late Russell and Charlotte Ryan Schmarr,  Craig had lived in Fairfield for over 25 years before moving to Stratford several years ago. He had worked as the Supervisor of Building Operations for the Town of Westport Public School system. Craig enjoyed working with his hands, especially woodworking and carpentry.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph Roos and his wife Gillian of Florida, Christopher Schmarr and his wife Jolene of Woodbridge and Tyler Schmarr of Milford, grandchildren Briella and Greyson Roos. He leaves behind his former wife Debbie Roos of Milford and a brother Russell Schmarr.
