Obituary of Patrick deMaille
Please share a memory of Patrick to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts we announce that our dear Patrick deMaille passed away on October 13, 2021, at the age of 40. His health issues and tender heart just gave way.
Patrick was the son of the late Alfred deMaille and Nancy Lee deMaille. Patrick was born on March 18, 1981 the day after St. Patrick's Day and he considered it to be his holiday. Patrick was a computer genius and he owned his own computer repair company. He loved to barter his work to help others. Patrick loved his dogs and cats. Patrick was often called "Mr. Monroe". He loved living in Monroe.
He played softball at Beardsley Park for over 18 years and was coach for the Headhunters team. Patrick loved his New York Jets and Sundays of softball, bruises and beer. He will always be remembered for being the life of the party, his quick wit, entrepreneurial spirit, ingenious idea generator, sense of humor, warm and infectious smile, and giving the biggest and best hugs you could feel his love whole heartedly.
His charming way lit up a room. Pat was always there to lend an ear or a hand for someone in need, whether you knew him for a minute or a lifetime, Pat left a long-lasting impression. Pat was notorious for his recollection of every movie line and for his own witty one liners.
He is survived by those who loved him. His mother, Nancy Lee deMaille; his brother, Darren; his sister, Meghan; and his nephews, Cody Michael and Nathan. He had more friends than anyone could hope for.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 22, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield, CT. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull, CT 06611.
