Obituary of Helen M. Tomac

Helen M. Tomac, age 97, beloved wife of the late John Tomac, of Fairfield and Monroe, passed away on September 4, 2018.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Richard Tomac and his wife Helen, of Oxford, John Tomas and his wife Patricia, of Southport, NC, Kathleen Bonetti and her husband Dennis, of Monroe; her grandchildren, Daniel Tomac, Michelle Ouellette, Michael and Kevin Bonetti, John and Christopher Tomac, Allison Antiello; her great grandchildren, Danielle and Isabella Tomac, Nicole, Vincent, and Natalie Bonetti, Andrew and Matthew Ouellette, John and Luca Tomac, Rocco and Gaetano Antoniello, and Kian Tomac; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her devoted husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Stephen, Joseph, and William Suhanosky.

A retired food service employee for General Electric, Helen continued working for Purdue Frederick and private catering until more recent years. She truly enjoyed baking and exploring her artistic talents through coloring. Above all else, she loved and cherished her family and friends, and will be missed by those whom she touched in her beautiful life.

Funeral services will be held on Friday 1045 AM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center and 1130 AM in Holy Family Church 700 Old Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may greet her family on Friday from 930 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
