Philip A. Ciaffa, age 86 of Fairfield, beloved husband, to Carol Miller Ciaffa, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born and raised in the Bronx, Philip was the son to the late Dominic and Petrina Ciaffa. Philip was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. He was an avid bowler and was a lifelong New York Yankees fan. Philip enjoyed watching movies and a good martini. In addition to his loving wife Carol of 52 years, Philip's memory will be cherished by his two daughters; Lori Zaun and her husband, Jim of Fairfield and Robin Nerkowski and her husband, Frank of Clinton and two grandchildren; Griffin and Lola Zaun. Friends may greet the family on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 10 to 12 noon in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road in Fairfield Center.
