Mr. Beeks interviewed me for an engineering position in early April. It only took him 15 minutes to make a lasting impact on my life. I could tell right away that he was a wonderful family man that cared and loved his family so much. He told me to follow my dreams, to not be afraid to travel, and to let life take its course without worrying too much. When I left that interview I felt as if I knew Mr. Beeks for years. I remember leaving that office with a huge smile on my face, excited, inspired, and happy to be given an opportunity to potentially work under such a great individual. My condolences to his family, his wife, and his kids that I know he worked so hard for. Mr. Beeks, thank you for that talk, I will never forget it. May you rest in eternal peace.

To Brannin's family:
There are no words that can ease your pain and sadness right now; I realize this. Sometimes just knowing someone cares that you are hurting, and wishes she could help lessen the pain and shock, can help. I am one of those "someone's".
I knew Brannin from NYU, we were both in the graduating class of A13. I never saw him without a huge bright smile on his face, full of energy and laughter and enthusiasm, always ready to tackle with humor what was coming his way. He was a wonderful man and a very bright light and will be truly missed by anyone who ever met him. My thoughts and prayers and deep sympathy are with you.
With love,
Renee

It was always a neighborly gesture. Brannin quietly walking from his home, passing by our yard and waving to us as we continued to establish ourselves as the loud ones in the cul-de-sac. That was the relationship we had. Just a few weeks ago, Brannin was at our home watching Alexa ride a unicorn helping to celebrate our daughter's birthday. These simple moments will forever be fond memories of a gentle soul who sparkled around his children. Our home has now extended beyond its boundaries and our once neighbors are friends and family connected by our daughters and Brannin walking by and still waving at us all playing together.

My thoughts and prayers to the Beeks and Wang families. As an NYU classmate, it was clear Brannin was as genuine and caring as you could ever hope to find. He was always quick to flash a smile, with a good laugh never too far behind. His thoughtfulness, accompanied by a welcoming demeanor, always seemed to put those around him at ease. Whether it was his passion for WSU and the Seahawks or his many, many anecdotes regarding his impressive gardening skills and adventures around the world, he was always happy to impart his love of life. Most notably, he conveyed clear love and devotion for his family along with his unbridled excitement towards being a husband and father. He will be missed.
