Obituary of Grace LeClerc
Grace Nallo LeClerc, age 82, of Waterbury passed away on January 23, 2018. Born to the late Orlando Nallo and Helene Genovese, Grace spent her early years in Waterbury, graduating from Waterbury Catholic High School. After starting her family and living in Wisconsin, she returned to Waterbury to raise her children. She worked for many years at Scovill Manufacturing Company and Hubbard-Hall Chemical Company. Grace loved her vintage home and her flower gardens, as well as baking, especially her famous molasses cookies. But most of all, she loved her family and being able to spend time with them.
Grace is survived by her sons, Bryan and his wife Mary of Fairfield, and their children Sarah and Christopher, and Kenneth and his wife Eileen of Bethlehem, and their children Kathleen and Jessica. Grace also leaves behind her sister Lucy Calabro of Middlebury, and her nephew Michael.
Two funeral services will be held. The first in Fairfield on Saturday, January 27 at 11 am in the Egan Chapel of St. Ignatius Loyola at Fairfield University, 1073 North Benson Road. The second in Waterbury on Monday, January 29 at 10 am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 309 South Main Street. Her internment will be private.
