Obituary of Carla Blozzon

Carla Seaberg Blozzon, age 75, of Stratford, adoring wife of Robert Blozzon, Sr.,  passed away on January 2, 2018.

In addition to Bob, her devoted husband of 56 years, loving memories of Carla will be embraced by her son Bob Blozzon Jr. and wife Sue, daughter Marcy Petrov and husband Steve,  daughter Kathleen LeClerc and husband Brian, along with grandchildren Meggie Angelovic and husband Scott, Brody Blozzon and fiancée Lucy France, Riley Blozzon, Lily and Annika Petrov, Emma and Owen LeClerc, and great-grandchildren Eli and Oliver Angelovic, Mia France, and Jackson Blozzon. A special place was held in her heart for a niece Judy Schwarz and her husband John.  Other survivors including her loving sister, Margit Backus and husband Phil, nephews Erik Backus (Jackie) and Donald Backus, and sister-in-law Bette Blozzon. She was predeceased by her parents Carl and Margot Seaberg. 

Born and raised in Bridgeport Carla graduated from Bassick High School in 1959 and worked as a service representative for SNET until her retirement. Some of her many favorites were perpetuating family traditions, traveling, lobster dinners, Swedish fish,  dining out, manicures, and emojis. She could often be found in Times Square on Wednesdays at Tkts Tkts, a passion for New York theatre she shared with each of her grandchildren. What brought her the most joy was her family. Quick to share a warm smile and friendly laugh with those around her, Carla truly enjoyed being with people. She will be remembered by all whom she touched in life for her kindness.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 2 to 6 PM with a prayer service at 5 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. All other services will be private.
