I am very saddened to hear to Matt's untimely passing. I worked with Matt at SDR during summers cutting grass, weeding pachysandra or doing whatever odd job needed to be done. He truly enjoyed that work as well as sneaking out for "cruises". He always used humor, conversation and verbal games through those hot days. Hoping the family has found peace and recovery in the years since.

Matt was my dearest friend when we both were “away”. I looked to him for strength and direction at the single most difficult time in my life. After we parted ways, we stayed in touch mostly to chat about the Pats fan in his life, his son. He will be terribly missed but I will never forget him. May he Rest In Peace and live life to the fullest through his children.

How can I begin to express how important you were in my life. Even as we grew apart over the years, the love and bond we formed between the ages of 7 and 13 on the soccer fields, at family dinner tables and staying up late night playing pool and board games never wavered or waned. Once we reconnected 12 years ago, after we both moved back East, seeing you was always a highlight for me as you embraced me in that loving hug and we laughed and reminisced. I will always love and miss you my brother. May God hold you in the palm of his hand until we meet again. Love, Jim
