Elizabeth R. Bratz of Fairfield, CT, born Verna May LaForge on September 12, 1934, in Walden, NY, passed away on August 31, 2026, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport, CT, after a brief illness in the company of family.

    Known as Betty, she was a Graduate of Bullard Havens and a long-term employee of Stop and Shop in Monroe.

    She is predeceased by her husband, Rudolph Bratz, and her son, Rudolph Bratz.

    She is survived by two Daughters, Leiza Allard of Fairfield, Ct., and Helen Malsbary of Oregon.

    Betty was a member of the Easton Volunteer Fire Department Sirens and Jesse Lee Church, where she was a member of the choir for many years. Betty liked animals, especially cats, and was well loved by all who knew her.

    There will be a private burial at Oaklawn Cemetery in Fairfield under the care of The Lesko Funeral Home, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
