Paul Gleba, 83, of Southport, Connecticut, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, with his beloved wife, Beverly, by his side.

    Paul was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and attended Saint Michael's Grammar School and Notre Dame High School. A devout altar boy, he walked to Saint Michael's Church every day. He attended the University of Bridgeport and graduated in June 1965. He began his career at Turn of River Junior High School in Stamford as a Biology teacher. He later earned a Master's degree in Accounting from Fairfield University.

    Paul and Beverly Federline married in 1965 and shared more than 60 years together. Beverly was the love of his life and guiding light. They made their home in Southport, Connecticut, where they were longtime members of The Patterson Club. They also spent time in Naples, Florida, where they were members of Grey Oaks Country Club, and for many years maintained a home at Stratton Mountain in Vermont.

    Paul enjoyed a long and distinguished career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He joined PWC in 1969. He became a Partner in 1982 and elevated to the role of Senior Business Assurance Partner, specializing in Chapter 11 bankruptcies and SEC clients. He also served as the firm's Partner Liaison for France. Paul retired from PwC in 2002 at age 59.

    Paul believed strongly in giving back to his community. Over the years, he devoted his time and leadership to a number of civic and charitable organizations, including Habitat for Humanity. He was a Council Member of the New York State Chapter of the Tourette Association of America, served on the Board of Directors of Canisius College, and chaired the Stamford Advisory Board of Goodwill Industries. Paul is a former President of The Patterson Club, where he served on the Board of Directors for 14 years.

    Paul was smart, handsome and a true gentleman. He faced many health challenges throughout his life and worked hard to overcome them, meeting each one with determination, perseverance and grace. Smart, funny, caring and outgoing, Paul treasured time with his family and friends. An avid golfer and skier, he cherished making a long putt and a day without the shanks!

    Constantly entertaining his friends was his trademark. His sense of spontaneity and desire to enjoy the moment brought laughter to all. He shared his zest for life generously and truly was one of a kind. He and Beverly loved to travel, and Paul loved music and concerts. He was known to entertain family and friends playing the guitar or singing an Elvis song. He will be deeply missed.

    Paul is also survived by his sisters Christina Fitzgerald and Judee Wilkinson; his nieces Dr. Christine Pagano, Amy Dean, Carolyne Rainero, Christa Wilkinson, Ashley Wilkinson, Amanda Federline, Megan Federline, his nephews Micheal Fitzgerald and Tom Fitzgerald, and 9 grandnieces and grandnephews.

    Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, August 31, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Lesko Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield, Connecticut. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 1, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 834 Brookside Drive, Fairfield, Connecticut.
