Patrick Thomas Feeley — devoted husband, loving father, faithful son, cherished brother, and treasured friend — passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, at his home in Fairfield, Connecticut, surrounded by the immeasurable love of his family. He was 48. Patrick touched countless lives, both personally and professionally, and he did it the only way he knew how: by being completely, unmistakably himself. In a world full of pretense, Patrick was unapologetically authentic.

Patrick is survived by the loves of his life: his wife of twenty years, Leslie Feeley, and their four daughters, Jane (17), Claire (15), Grace (12), and Brooke (9). He is also survived by his parents, Kenneth and Karen Feeley of Massapequa, NY; his sister, Kristen Murray, and brother-in-law, Tim, of Pleasantville, NY; his in-laws, Patrick and Mary Flume of Stamford, CT, Shelley and Ryan Follick of Fairfield, CT, and Brian and Alison Flume, also of Fairfield, CT; and numerous nieces and nephews. He leaves behind, too, a large extended family and a wide circle of lifelong friends who will forever remember his kindness, generosity, and loyal friendship.

Born in Massapequa, New York, on March 28, 1978, Patrick embraced life from the very beginning with enthusiasm, curiosity, and gratitude. He spent his childhood riding bikes, playing baseball and basketball, and forming friendships that endured for the rest of his life. He attended Loyola College in Maryland, where he met Leslie, and he later earned his MBA from New York University.

Patrick built an accomplished career in health care finance, beginning in public accounting at KPMG. Early in his career, when his firm was called to Ground Zero after 9/11 to help manage the workforce of the cleanup effort, Patrick was there — quietly serving the city in its time of greatest need. He went on to spend nearly fifteen years as a respected equity analyst covering health care services at Bank of America, Citigroup, JP Morgan, and Barclays. He later led Investor Relations at Teladoc and Acadia Healthcare. He was as respected for how he carried himself as for what he accomplished, and through the long hours and demanding years, the colleagues who worked beside him became lifelong friends — some of whom came to regard him as a brother.

Patrick had a calm, steady way about him. When a snowstorm brought I-95 to a standstill, he delivered his daughter Claire right there on the side of the highway — unhurried and capable, as he was in most things. The family loves to tell that story, because it captures him well: when it mattered, Patrick was unflappable and delivered (in this case, literally delivered!). 

One of Patrick’s most admirable and defining traits was his curiosity. Over the years that curiosity pulled him into more hobbies than anyone could count — sailing, golf, carpentry, skiing — and whatever he took up, he went all in and got good at it.   He played the guitar and had the best taste in music of anyone in the room. He could fix anything around the house, whip up a memorable meal, and bake and decorate birthday cakes worthy of a bakery window – a useful skill that his precious girls cherished. He loved running, good coffee, walks with his yellow lab Winnie, and a proper New York slice. And it must be said, because everyone who ever met him said it: Patrick had a truly phenomenal head of hair. Legendary stuff.

More than any professional accomplishment or hobby, Patrick’s greatest joy was being a husband and father. Raising his four girls was, to him, the greatest role and privilege of his life. From summers at the beach, boogie boarding with his girls and catching the sunrise with Leslie, to winters skiing together in Vermont, his family was the center of his life. After years in New York City, Patrick and Leslie raised their girls in New Rochelle, New York, where they treasured a wonderful community of friends, before moving in 2022 to Fairfield, where they were embraced by another remarkable community and quickly formed deep and lasting connections.

When Patrick was diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare cancer, seventeen months ago, he faced it the way he faced everything: with honesty, courage, quiet strength, and his family close. The illness was part of his story, but it was never his story, nor will it be his legacy. To the end, he remained exactly who he had always been — present, warm, funny, steady, and focused entirely on the people he loved.

Above all else, Patrick treasured the ordinary moments made extraordinary because they were shared: Friday movie nights, family vacations, days on the ski slopes, holidays, and quiet evenings at home. Those who knew him will remember his warm smile, generous spirit, brilliance, and unwavering devotion to his family. He lived with curiosity, humility, compassion, and integrity — quick to help, slow to take credit. Though his earthly life was far too short, Patrick’s love remains woven into the lives of those he cherished, and his influence will live on in the values he instilled in his daughters, the friendships he nurtured, and the countless lives he touched.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 28th at 11am at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Fairfield, Connecticut.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Feeley Education Trust, established to support the future education of Jane, Claire, Grace, and Brooke — a lasting tribute to Patrick’s enduring love for his family.
