Stephen Paul Aliberti Obituary

Stephen Paul Aliberti, 74 of Bridgeport, passed away Monday, June 15th, 2026.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Antoinette Aliberti, and his niece, Casey Convertito.

He is survived by his beloved wife Gene Aliberti, his brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Georgette Aliberti, his sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Ralph Convertito, his son and daughter-in-law Scott and Marcia Aliberti, his son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Marquetta Aliberti, his granddaughters Jaden Aliberti and Reese Aliberti, and his grandson Tatum Aliberti, his niece Lisa and her husband David Fitch, his nephew Jason Aliberti and his wife Amanda, his nephew Corey Convertito and his wife Jo Hannah and his nephew Kyle Convertito.

Stephen was born in Bridgeport to Ralph and Antoinette Aliberti in 1951. He was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport and worked as a produce manager at Stop & Shop for many years until his retirement. Stephen loved the outdoors, and retirement allowed him to relax by the pool, read the newspaper, and watch his favorite old western movies. He spent countless hours tending to his garden, where he grew tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, and other vegetables. He enjoyed spending time with Gene and was an avid fan of the Yankees and UConn women's basketball. Additionally, he was a collector of antique clocks and adored his four cats: Jasper, Smoky, Gizmo, and Coco. Above all, he cherished his grandchildren.
