Eleanor Baldyga, 90, of Easton, passed away on January 13, 2026.

Born in 1935 in Archbald, Pennsylvania, Eleanor Sembrot, daughter of John Sembrot and Stella Falkowski, was a beloved member of her community who lived a vibrant life. She had a passion for skiing and served as president of the Columbiettes Council #9460 of the Knights of Columbus. Eleanor was also actively involved at the Easton Senior Center.

Eleanor is the owner of Dogwood Realty LLC and a member of the Fairfield Board of Realty. She has been a real estate agent in Fairfield for over 50 years. Additionally, Eleanor worked at Norwalk Hospital and co-owned Lake Hill News and Ray's Luncheonette with Raymond Baldyga. She has also held positions at Frederick's and Reid's.

She was predeceased by her parents, Stella Falkowski Sembrot and John Sembrot; her sisters, Barbara Chockey and Jean Higgins; her brother, John Sembrot; her son, Michael Baldyga; and her grandson, Joseph Baldyga.

Eleanor is survived by her sons and their families: Raymond "Ray" and Judy Baldyga, Lawrence "Larry" Baldyga, and Mark Baldyga with his partner, Kelly McCarthy. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Notre Dame of Easton on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 10:30 AM. The services will continue to Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield, where she will be laid to rest.
