Alejandro Mazier, 54 (born Melvin Alejandro Mazier), a beloved father, partner, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at his home in Fairfield, Connecticut.

He was born on September 6, 1971, in Puerto Cortés, Honduras, to Elba Luna and Arturo Mazier. At the age of 10, knowing very little English, he moved to the United States. He earned a scholarship to Milton Academy, followed by a degree from Boston College and an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business. His professional career included key roles at prestigious institutions such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Sandell Asset Management, and Dundon Advisers, as well as serving on the board of directors for GenOn.

"Alejandro was a kind and empathetic person who loved playing soccer, dancing, singing, and doing anything to make his kids smile. He enjoyed tanning to get as dark as possible under the warm sun. No matter what he was facing, he always ensured his kids felt loved and cherished. Alejandro was also highly intelligent and hardworking, with grit. Born with almost nothing in Honduras, he moved to America at age 10 without speaking English. Within four years, he earned a scholarship to Milton Academy, then attended Boston College, and later earned his MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, often with little help. Alejandro is survived by his son, Esteban Mazier; his daughter, Anabela Luna Mazier; and his devoted partner, Sarah Reichard. He also leaves behind his loving elder brother, Marlon Mazier, and his wife, Zoila, along with his cherished nieces, Jennifer and Jocelyn. Alejandro is remembered by his former spouses, Luciana Pampalone and Giselle White Mazier. He will be missed by his two beloved dogs, Daisy, a Goldendoodle, and Jackson, his loyal stepdog.

He was predeceased by his parents, Arturo and Elba, and his brother Elvis Mazier.
